Taurus
Gentle Bull Who’s Got All Day (Unless You Cross Them)
Taurus, darling. The original Second House tenant. This house governs family—yours, and the one you collect through marriage or otherwise (yes, even your partner’s suspiciously quiet cousin). It’s also the house of money, food, and the things we cling to when life feels a bit much. So naturally, Taurus collects—people, possessions, memories, and probably a drawer full of takeaway menus “just in case.”
Now, symbolically, we’re dealing with a bull. Which tells you quite a bit already. Calm? Incredibly. Peaceful? Almost suspiciously so. But—poke the bull one too many times and, well… let’s just say they won’t be sending you a passive aggressive emoji. More like a detailed analysis of why you’re the problem. With punctuation.
They don’t like being teased, not really. You could send a cheeky meme and pretend it’s “just banter,” but Taurus will clock it. They might even laugh. But do trust—they noticed, and they’ve filed it away under “Things to Bring Up When You Least Expect It.”
That said, Taurus is a sign of celebration and pleasure. They love a good time—candles, cake, maybe a bit of dancing, maybe just a really excellent nap. They’re not fussy about the form, as long as it feels good. Pleasure is their compass. And no, they don’t believe that’s shallow—just sensible.
Financially, they’re switched on. Always half-planning. “If I invest in this now, how much will I get later?” is less a question and more an internal monologue. They’re not necessarily money-obsessed; they just understand its role in creating comfort, and they do love their comfort.
Ruled by Venus, Taurus comes with all the usual: romance, beauty, charm, a soft spot for luxurious things, and a slight tendency to assume everyone should get along—until they don’t. They can be stubborn, yes. But it’s not the screaming kind. More the quiet, immovable kind. Like, “No thank you, I’ve made my mind up and I shan’t be budging.”
And oh, the sleeping. If Taurus could list sleep as a hobby on their CV, they would. They’re not lazy, just… unbothered by urgency. They will work hard, especially if money or love is involved. But rushing? Not really their scene. They prefer the scenic route—and honestly, who can blame them?
In relationships, they’re steady and affectionate. If you’ve got a Taurus in your corner, they’ll probably remember your birthday, your favourite biscuit, and the time you cried over a fox in a film. They’re lovely like that.
So yes—Taurus is grounded, tactile, quietly calculating, and incredibly loyal. A bit slow-moving, a touch possessive, and absolutely worth the wait.
If you have a Taurus friend, keep them. Feed them. Don’t tease too much.
And maybe let them nap.
Love, Oshin
